GIZ implements the project "Empowering Women for Technical and Green Crafts Professions and in Career Development (Fursati)" in Jordan. The project is commissioned by BMZ and embedded in the programme "Skills, Employment and Economic Development in Jordan". The project aims to improve young women"s access to non-stereotypical, labour market relevant training and to decent jobs in green, technical and creative sectors. The contractor supports TVET reform roll out and gender responsive implementation of BTEC model through: establishment and management of flexible short term expert pools; competence and organisational development for the Ministry of Education and directorates; co development of a Gender Equity and Social Inclusion framework and gender transformative career guidance; advisory to selected BTEC girls" schools for practice oriented, gender responsive programmes, industry partnerships and work based learning; M&E and tracer studies. The contractor provides a team leader, one key expert and national and international short term expert pools over approx. 24 months.
